The Jeannette Public Library is once again participating in the Red Sand Project, a community awareness initiative focused on human trafficking. The project continues to grow throughout Westmoreland County, with nearly 50 sites participating last year.

Red sand is placed in sidewalk cracks to represent victims of human trafficking who can too easily “fall through the cracks.” Stop by the library to see our Red Sand Project display and help us raise awareness in our community.
