On Saturday August 22nd at 10:00 am step back in time at the Monessen Public Library as we explore the history and images of Western Pennsylvania’s lost amusement parks. The program, “LOST AMUSEMENT PARKS OF WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA” will be hosted by Jennifer Sopko who is a Pittsburgh-based author whose work focuses on regional history and culture. Since 2003, Jennifer has covered Western Pennsylvania as a freelance journalist and writer for several regional publications, including Westmoreland History magazine.
