Join the Westmoreland Land Trust for a family-fun program exploring our state’s beautiful forests and streams! We’ll talk (and sing) about woodland creatures; identify some invertebrates that live in our streams; learn what tree cookies can tell us about the life of a tree; and explore how decomposers, like bugs, slugs and fungi help maintain healthy forests. Then, we’ll make beautiful watercolor leaf prints to take home! And don’t forget to check out a Westmoreland Nature Backpack and continue exploring at home!
