SUMMARY:Reading & Writing Camp
DESCRIPTION:This program is for students entering grades 1-3 who need extra support with reading and writing. Led by elementary education professionals\, students will strengthen their reading and writing skills through a variety of fun activities. Children will both read and work on writing their own stories. Each child in the program will receive a free book to keep when the program is over. Please note: This program is on ongoing program that is designed to build skills. Weekly participation is strongly encouraged. DESCRIPTION:Let’s explore gardens together! We’ll get our hands dirty as we grow and care for plants and flowers here at the library and at home. We’ll learn about compost\, pollinators and lots more cool plant science. We’ll create beautiful garden decorations to beautify our gardens at home. We’ll end the summer with a special salsa & nacho party using plants that we grew right here at the library! Please sign up once if you can commit to attending most of the seven sessions.
